There are so many rides in Santa Cruz county that there's really something for everyone. These are some of our favorites but if you're looking for something else, stop in and see us, or send an email and we can suggest a route that will work for you. Hope to see you out there!
Joanne's Ring of Fire
This ride is a leg burning 25 mile ride you can do in less than 2 1/2 hours. Challenge yourself with this loop once a week and watch your climbing technique and skills improve!
Coffee Ride
As many will tell you, this is one of Santa Cruz's best not so kept secret routes. Frequented by many cyclists, this route incorporates some spectacular views of the ocean. At just over 28 miles, it's the perfect recovery ride or casual cruise that puts you smack downtown where you can get a quick cup of coffee or snack at one of the many coffee shops. It's one of our favs, so wave if you see us out there!
Do you know the way to Monterey?
This ride takes you through it all – strawberry fields, Elkhorn Slough, farm land and ocean. Enjoy the views, but come prepared with lots of food, water, and rested legs. The wind can take a lot of energy through on the way back, trust me! That said, this is an amazing ride with some scenic views!
We're fortunate to be in one of the most amazing areas in the world for off road biking. Mountian Bikers of Santa Cruz (MBOSC) has compiled a list of legal trails in all parkes to help all riders avoid the hefty fines that come from riding the wrong trails in Santa Cruz county. Remember, ride safe, ride legal!
